Riyadh-Mubasher: Cement producers in Saudi Arabia saw their combined sales reach 3.13 million tonnes in July 2016, up 0.26% from 3.12 million tonnes in the prior-year period, according to Yamama Saudi Cement Company’s monthly report.

Total production of cement firms rose by 0.72% to reach 3.21 million tonnes in July 2016, compared to 3.19 million tonnes recorded in the same month a year earlier.

Cement stockpile reached 1.12 million tonnes in July 2016, a decline of 1.92% from 1.15 million tonnes in July 2015.

Saudi Cement Company recorded the highest sales with 476,000 tonnes in July 2016, a growth of 7.94% from 441,000 in July 2015.

Southern Province Cement came in second place with 432,000 tonnes in July 2016, down 0.46% from 434,000 tonnes in July last year.
